Job description:
The English Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging English language and literature lessons to students, fostering a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking. This role involves creating a supportive learning environment, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. We have available 10th pass jobs in surat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Instruction:
Develop and deliver well-structured lesson plans in line with curriculum standards (e.g., Common Core, IB, Cambridge, etc.).
Teach grammar, composition, literature, vocabulary, and communication skills.
Use a variety of teaching methods (discussions, multimedia, group work) to engage students.
Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and analytical writing.
- Student Assessment & Feedback:
Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, presentations, and essays.
Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their language skills.
Track and report student progress to parents, administrators, and stakeholders.
- Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
Address different learning styles and support students with varying proficiency levels.
Foster a respectful and collaborative classroom culture.
- Curriculum Development & Collaboration:
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental meetings.
Stay updated on best practices in English education and integrate new teaching strategies.
Work with colleagues, parents, and school staff to support student success.
- Extracurricular Involvement (Optional):
Lead or assist with clubs (e.g., debate, drama, book club).
Supervise school literary magazines, writing competitions, or public speaking events.
