Preventative Maintenance: Carry out preventative maintenance schedules to avoid breakdowns or major issues. Replace parts or perform repairs when necessary.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment, machinery, and systems. Provide prompt repairs or coordinate with vendors if needed.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and part replacements. Report any major issues or patterns to senior management.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and standards. Ensure proper safety equipment is used during maintenance activities.
Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other teams, such as production or engineering, to address maintenance issues that impact operations.
Vendor Management: Liaise with external service providers and suppliers for repairs, services, and procurement of materials as needed.
Training and Supervision: Occasionally train junior staff or new employees on maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: A degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, and other mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair technical issues.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems effectively.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills to report issues, coordinate with other departments, and maintain records.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially during emergency situations or unscheduled breakdowns.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety standards and procedures, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if needed.
Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Willingness to continuously update skills and stay up to date with the latest technologies in maintenance.
