Job Description :

United Green Hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Accountant with over 5 years of experience in the hospital or healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the hospital’s complete financial operations including daily billing, salary disbursements, TPA payments, doctor remunerations, and the preparation of financial reports. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring high attention to detail and a strong understanding of healthcare financial processes.

Job Timing :

Salary Range :

From ₹20,000 a month

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Billing & Revenue Cycle Management:
  • Oversee and monitor daily patient billing for IPD, OPD, lab, pharmacy, and other hospital services.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and ensure accuracy in all patient invoices.
  • Coordinate with front office and billing teams for smooth financial operations.
  • TPA & Insurance Management:
  • Handle TPA (Third Party Administrator) payments and insurance claims.
  • Track pending and approved claims, and follow up with TPAs for timely reimbursements.
  • Maintain detailed records of insurance transactions and settlements.
  • Doctor Remuneration:
  • Calculate and disburse doctor’s professional fees based on hospital protocols (percentage-based, fixed, or hybrid).
  • Maintain confidential records of doctor earnings and deductions.
  • Payroll Management:
  • Process and manage monthly salaries for hospital staff, including deductions, bonuses, and advances.
  • Coordinate with HR for attendance and leave records.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, TDS, etc.).
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets.
  • Generate profit & loss statements, cash flow reports, and financial analysis for management.
  • Work closely with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
  • Budgeting & Compliance:
  • Assist in hospital budgeting and expenditure planning.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, GST filings, and hospital finance regulations.
  • Liaise with external consultants for IT filings and financial assessments.

Experience :

Minimum 5 Years (Hospital/Healthcare Sector Mandatory)

Education :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
