Job Title: Site Supervisor – Façade Industry we have available Site Supervisor jobs in surat
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the façade installation process, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications. This role involves managing site workers, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the installation of curtain walls, aluminum cladding, glazing, windows, louvers, and other façade systems.
Ensure work is completed as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and quality standards.
Monitor on-site fabrication, fixing, and alignment of façade components.
Conduct daily site inspections to identify and resolve any installation issues.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of façade materials on-site.
Construction Jobs In Surat
Work closely with site engineers, subcontractors, and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of façade materials.
Communicate project progress and site issues to project managers.
Attend site meetings and provide updates on installation progress and challenges.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
Ensure façade installation meets industry standards (BS, ASTM, EN, etc.) and project requirements.
Conduct quality checks and report any defects or deviations in workmanship.
Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring all workers use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Address and report any workplace hazards, incidents, or near-misses.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in façade installation, cladding, or glazing projects.
Strong knowledge of façade systems, materials, and installation methods.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, technical specifications, and site layouts.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in high-rise façade projects, unitized curtain walls, and ACP cladding.
Familiarity with anchoring systems, waterproofing, and façade testing procedures.
Strong understanding of scaffolding, rigging, and façade access equipment.
