Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Office administrator with experience in metal fabrication. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative functions of the office. This role supports the production team, purchasing, HR, and management by ensuring paperwork, communication, and coordination are handled efficiently and accurately.

This is an on-site position in a production facility. Some interaction with the shop floor team and suppliers will be part of the role. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage phone and email communications; serve as the first point of contact for general inquiries
Maintain records for projects, purchase orders, timesheets, and certifications
Assist with job scheduling, document control, and communication between departments
Support procurement by placing orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining vendor records
Maintain inventory of office supplies and reorder as needed
Process invoices, expense reports, and assist with basic bookkeeping
Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documents for internal use and client communication
Ensure health & safety records, compliance documents, and employee certifications are up to date
Coordinate meetings, site visits, and occasional logistics
Provide general support to the operations and management team
