We are looking for a talented and passionate Fashion Designer with expertise in designing ethnic kurtas for men and/or women. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of trends, fabric knowledge, and a keen eye for detail to create market-ready, innovative, and elegant kurta designs that align with our brand identity.

Monday to Saturday
Salary Range:
2,000 – 4,000 per month
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create original kurta designs based on seasonal trends, fabric innovations, and customer preferences.
- Develop mood boards, color palettes, embroidery concepts, and silhouettes.
- Collaborate with production, merchandising, and sourcing teams to translate designs into final products.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated with current ethnic fashion trends.
- Work closely with tailors and pattern masters to ensure fit and finish of the garments.
- Manage sampling, corrections, and final approvals for new collections.
- Assist in photoshoots, catalogs, and online product representation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in designing ethnic wear, preferably kurtas.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating kurta designs and previous work.
- Excellent understanding of fabrics, embroidery, cuts, and finishes.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work creatively and meet tight deadlines.
