Roles and Responsibilities :
Design Stack
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in fabrics, techniques, and design inspiration.
Translate research insights into original sketches and designs for new products.
Experiment with and select appropriate fabrics, colours, patterns, and textures for each design, considering aesthetics and functionality.
Create mood boards, storyboards, and sample presentations to effectively communicate design concepts.
Customer Relations:
Present design concepts, including mood boards, colour palettes, and fabric samples, to buyers and clients.
Style and showcase designs to walk-in customers, providing excellent customer service.
Gather customer feedback and incorporate it into the design process.
Production:
Assist in streamlining the production process from order placement to final delivery, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure design specifications are met.
Learn about quality control and production management techniques.
Key Skills Required :
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign preferred).
Strong sketching and design skills, with a portfolio showcasing your creativity.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
A passion for fashion and a desire to learn.
Education :
