Roles and Responsibilities :
Welcome guests warmly, take their orders, and serve meals efficiently to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Exhibit a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special offerings, assisting guests in making informed decisions.
Record orders accurately, ensuring that any dietary restrictions or special requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
Efficiently set up and clear tables, maintaining a tidy and organized dining area for guests.
Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar personnel to coordinate order timing and ensure smooth service delivery.
Offer recommendations for additional menu items, beverages, or desserts to enhance guests’ dining experience and potentially boost sales (if necessary).
Process customer payments accurately, handle transactions, and provide timely receipts.
Adhere to restaurant policies, procedures, and hygiene standards to uphold a safe and sanitary dining environment.
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues, including listening actively, conveying information clearly, and adapting communication style as needed.
Dedication to providing exceptional customer service, understanding and anticipating guest needs, and resolving issues promptly.
Ability to accurately record orders, and handle payments.
Capacity to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, communicate order details, and coordinate service to ensure smooth operations.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, handle varying demands, and adjust to changing priorities or situations while maintaining professionalism and composure.
