Roles and Responsibilities :
- Troubleshooting and Support:Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Installation and Configuration:Install and configure operating systems, applications, and hardware, including peripherals like printers and scanners.
- Remote Support:Provide remote technical assistance to users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- User Training:Train users on the use of new software, hardware, and IT policies.
- Asset Management:Manage technology inventory, track hardware and software assets, and assist with procurement.
- Documentation:Document technical issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps in a ticketing system.
- Network Support:Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including internet access and local area networks.
- Collaboration:Collaborate with other IT staff and vendors to resolve complex issues and implement new technologies.
- System Monitoring:Monitor the performance and efficiency of desktop infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvement.
Key Skills Required :
- Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS), software applications, and hardware.
- Troubleshooting Skills:Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site.
