Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily weaving operations to meet production targets.
- Monitor loom performance, settings, and fabric quality.
- Ensure proper yarn feeding, tension control, and machine efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct fabric inspections and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Train and guide loom operators to improve productivity and reduce defects.
- Prepare daily production reports and update management on operational status.
- Implement safety protocols and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of weaving machines (e.g., Rapier, Airjet, Shuttle, etc.).
- Knowledge of different fabric types and weaving techniques.
- Team management and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities.
- Basic computer skills for reporting.
Experience :
3–7 years
Education :
ITI / Diploma in Textile Technology
