- Collaborate with IT security teams to enforce security policies, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for server configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Serve as the point of escalation for complex server issues, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems efficiently.a
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in server administration, with a strong background in Windows and Linux environments.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Deep expertise in managing virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall configurations.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to streamline server management tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Relevant certifications, such as MCSE, RHCE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are a plus.
