Cost Management: Negotiate pricing and cost terms with suppliers to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing for clients.
Timely Delivery: Ensure on-time delivery of garments to clients by coordinating transportation logistics and monitoring shipping schedules.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, production reports, and shipment details to facilitate smooth operations and financial tracking.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the garment production process, including quality concerns or delivery delays.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, textiles, business, or a related field is typically required.
Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the fashion and garment industry, including textile materials, production processes, and market trends.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and ensure cost-effective production.
Project Management: Excellent project management skills to coordinate multiple orders simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently to prevent disruptions in production or delivery.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to maintain quality standards and ensure accurate documentation.
Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in using industry-specific software and Microsoft Office applications for order tracking, inventory management, and reporting.
