Review deviation raised during incoming inspection, in process inspection, final inspection and final testing Handle technical complaints and rectify design as per discussion in meeting. Ensure the 3D modeling of assembly and sub-assembly is released Take decision regarding old stock for rework / reject/ reuse in the machine. Ensure Revision of product drawings, Assembly drawing& Sub-Assembly Drawings and released on time and maintain the revision history of same Ensure old drawing retrieval systems is established throughout the department and organization

Ensure Design history is maintained for future action plan and new design development Ensure the design revision records are maintained Ensure reduction in cost thru design change / product improvement. Recommend Gauge, Assembly Fixture, pattern, jig related to new design and existing design. Customer visit based on complaint received by CTS (Customer Technical support) if it is technical and functional related issues. Verify and approve all design before release. Ensure data back-up of all designs and security of design data. Ensure maintenance of customer samples for future references. Ensure product codification method is followed for each item before it is being released.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure BOM structure is designed as per packing list and manufacturing sequence for new product design Ensure regular meeting is done with customer service and support department and sales department and end user to take inputs on product related issues and performance
Ensure that the complete BOM is released along with drawings and specifications on time Approve all types 2D and 3D Design Define manufacturing process and process sequence based on product tolerance, fitment, applications and functions Ensure the design validation is done for each product, assemblies and sub-assemblies
