Job Description
Attending to the In-patients, Out-patients To take rounds and examine individual patients. To take proper history of the patient Inform the respective consultant about the admission and follow his/her orders. Instruct the nursing staff about the necessary orders to be carried out. Inform the nursing staff about any changes in the line of treatment. Inform the respective consultant about any new findings. To follow up all the investigations and trace their results. Inform the reports to the Consultant, Note down investigation results in the investigation sheet.

If not inform the respective consultant To inform the Anaesthetist on duty regarding the surgery/procedure planned, clinical history & the condition of the patient admitted. To take special precautions for any special investigations.
